Green Tax of USD 6 per person per night will be charged at the hotel. This tax is not included in the booking price.

Green Tax is a tax payable by tourists who stay in tourist resorts, integrated tourist resort, tourist hotels, resort hotels, hotels, tourist vessels and tourist guesthouses operated in the Maldives based on each day of stay.

Green Tax rates in the Maldives have undergone significant changes, effective 1 January 2025, In line with the 14th amendment to the Maldives Tourism Act, the updated rates have applied to all tourist establishments, including resorts, guesthouses, and vessels.

Under the new changes, Green Tax is doubled for most establishments. Resorts, integrated tourist resorts, resort hotels, tourist guesthouses with more than 50 rooms, and vessels now charge USD 12 per guest per night. Meanwhile, guesthouses operating with 50 or fewer rooms on inhabited islands charge USD 6 per guest per night. Children below 2 years old are exempted from green tax
