Mercure Penang Beach is located a 10-minute drive from Straits Quay Mall and Convention Centre. The famous Georgetown is a 20-minute drive away and Penang International Airport is 45-minute drive away. Cosy air-conditioned rooms feature modern interiors and furnishings. Each is equipped with a personal safe and flat-screen satellite TV. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided. The hotel has a tour desk to assist with travel arrangements. Other facilities include a 24-hour front desk and meeting/banquet facilities. Luggage storage space is available. International dishes can be enjoyed at The Ombak. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective from 1 July 2022, please note that there will be a Local Government Fee of MYR 3 per room night imposed by the City Council of Penang. This payment is not included in the room rate and should be made upon check-in at Mercure Penang Beach.
Please note that the property does not accept third party payment cards. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel. If you are making payment using another cardholder's credit card, kindly provide the following to the hotel prior to your arrival: 1) Authorization letter with cardholder's signature 2) Copy of the cardholder's card (front and back of card with cardholder's signature) Please note that hotel may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. For security purposes, credit cards use for Non-Refundable bookings must also be presented when checking in.
