The sky sure is big here at big sky ranch and the stars are even more spectacular, truly. Come stay with us and explore blue living and the beauty of Escamequita, Nicaragua. We are located within the renowned equestrian gated community situated within a tropical nature reserve overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Costa Rica, creating a sense of peace & serenity you just can’t get amongst the hustle and bustle. We have two off grid casitas nestled on 2 acres amongst the mountains, each 1 bedroom 1 bath, within 5 minutes to three different beaches; Playa Yankee (amazing surf), Playa Escamequita, & Playa Las Tablas. The casitas are surrounded by papaya, banana, and lime trees - feel free to help yourself to whatever might be in harvest during your stay with us - and can be rented individually, or together (see appropriate links).

Hey! We're Kevin and Kayla, the owners of the Casitas at Big Sky Ranch. It's our home away from home and perfect for us as we love being surrounded by nature, wild life, the ocean, good food, and good community. If you love those things as well, Escamequita is the right spot for you!! While we are away, we have our AMAZING friend, host, and property manager, Eve, available to assist you (and us) with anything you might need! She's lived in the area for 6yrs, and is a wealth of knowledge and love.

You will be staying in a gated community with security at each gate. Make sure to give the guys a wave and hello to add to their day :) Having some form of transportation is HIGHLY recommended to be able to go at your own pace and explore the area. If this is not possible, there is public transportation into town 3x/day but will require a 20 minute walk into town to catch it. Rustic restaurant is a short walk, and playa yankee/escameca beaches are about 20ish minutes by foot. There are a few other local restaurants in the area, and other beaches to explore! We also have a great pickleball court in the area serving up goodies like food, coffee, bakedgoods, etc! Oh! and don't forget to catch an epic horseback ride while you're staying at Big Sky Ranch!!
