Beautiful large luxury villa with spectacular views & pool on 2780 m2 of private land. - Villa is new, 200 m2, built in 2022 and equipped with every luxury - Unique location within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and the lake - The lake and swimming beach at 65 meters - Full time caretaker on site - Large garden with flowers, monkeys and mango trees - Breathtaking sunsets every night - Hot water - Open living room with views over the lake and the volcano - Wi-Fi - 99% solar energy - Large open living room (86 m2): 6 person lounge set, dining table with 6 chairs, 2 hammocks - Kitchen: Fully equipped with gas stove, oven, large refrigerator and free spring water. - Bedroom 1: High quality king size bed + single bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan - Bedroom 2: High quality king size bed + single bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan - Bedroom 3: High quality king size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan - Living room: TV, 2 sofa's - Luxurious bathroom with bathroom furniture, toilet and shower with hot water - Extra bathroom outside with toilet and shower with hot water - Caretaker is happy to help arrange trips. Nearby you can kayak, swim, hike, visit waterfall, hike to the volcano peaks, visit petroglyphs, visit the natural springs of Ojo de Agua and horseback riding - Transfer to and from the ferry, private chef and washing machine are available at an additional cost - On Ometepe there are insects. Despite the fact that the whole house is equipped with mosquito nets on the windows, it is possible that an insect can slip inside. That's part of life in the jungle - There are no ATMs in Mérida, so bring enough cash - The plunge pool is closed
The owners are the Dutch couple Rudmer & Kimberley. They had the villa built by local workers. In this way, the local community has been able to benefit from the construction. Many materials come from the island: The bricks are baked by islanders, the slates of the floor come from San Ramon and the rocks used for the stairs and the caretaker house come mainly from their own garden.
