The holiday home has a living space of approx. 60 m² and offers enough space for four persons. There is a bedroom with a 1.40 x 2 m queen bed and a second sleeping room with a modern bunk bed. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views.
