Bed & Breakfast Gamerenwaard is a beautiful accommodation, located in a quiet village on the Waaldijk. In the B&B you have your own entrance and sanitary facilities. If desired, you can use the breakfast. The location is ideal as a starting point for a walk or bike ride. During your stay, bicycles and / or motorcycles can be stored in the covered garage. In the village of Gameren you can still see authentic farms and dike houses. The beautiful deer park in the center is a real eye-catcher! In the middle of this park is a stork nest that is visited annually by storks to breed. The B&B is very conveniently located. The pleasant fortified town of Zaltbommel on the Waal with many sights and activities is 3.5 km away. At 20 minutes by car, or 1 hour by bike you are in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. For the fanatic culture sniffers there are the museums, cruises and city walks. The shopaholics can go wild in the various shopping streets.
Since we (Willem and Marie-Elise) live in Gameren, the idea arose out of a hobby to open a small-scale B&B. And it worked. Our one-room B&B on the ground floor is designed to give you a pleasant stay. We welcome you personally and give you tips about the area. Goodbye, Marie-Elise
Several interesting places to visit. Think of Loevestein Castle, Ammersoyen Castle and Zaltbommel Castle. Fortified city Zaltbommel along the Waal is nearby. Here you can shop, visit the gallery and walk along the Waal. Ouwehands zoo is only a 35-minute drive away.
