Bortelid is also great for climbing and cycling and is the perfect place for hiking, whether it's a short walk or an extended hike in the mountains. We also recommend exploring the Hovass Valley nature reserve. In winter, Bortelid turns into a skiing paradise - the largest alpine ski area in southern Norway. Here you will find five ski lifts and 14 slopes, the longest of which is 1700 meters long. The slopes have different levels of difficulty, from children's slopes to steep downhill runs. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
