In nice weather you can start the day with a cup of morning coffee on the jetty. For a fee you can rent a SUP, the area is also known for good fishing. A short walk away you will find the wonderful sandy beach Sandvesanden. In the area there are nice opportunities for hiking in easy terrain and to smaller hills like Syreneset. A short drive away by car or boat is the sailing ship town of Skudeneshavn, with one of Europe's best preserved old towns with white wooden houses from the 19th century. Take a guided walk through the old town to learn more about the rich history of the region. In Torvastad you will find Haugaland Zoo, a nice experience for the whole family. This vacation home creates the perfect setting for both an active vacation with fishing trips and excursions, as well as for relaxing vacations by the sea.
