Cabin Living AS is Norwegian company which was founded in January 2017. We manage more than 60 properties by now. We stand for providing personal service to all guests. All our properties are located on the best Norwegian resorts, ski in/out or by the sea. Everyone can find a cabin or an apartment on one owns taste, either modern and new or traditional Norwegian. Welcome to a unique stay at Øyern in Rælingen with a great view of the lake. The surroundings offer a wonderful summer idyll with swimming, boating and fishing. The cabin offers a wood-fired sauna where you can sit and relax with a cold drink while looking out over the island and the well-known nature reserve there. In the main building there are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1: Double bed 140x200 cm. Bedroom 2: Single beds 2x90x200 cm. There is a sofa bed in the living room if you need extra bed space. The annex is a separate building containing only beds, no bathrooms. The annex has a sofa, a double bed 140X200cm and a bunk bed with 90X200 cm. It is only a 10-15 minute drive to Strømmen Storsenter, or to Lillestrøm with many good restaurants. Parking is 260 meters from the cabin. There is space for 2 cars in the parking lot. You must follow the signs and walk about 5 minutes on forest paths from the car park down to the cabin. Parties are not allowed in the cabin and neighbors should be respected - therefore there should be no loud music outside the cabin after 10pm in the evening. NB! This is an modernized older cabin located in a wooded area. So one cannot expect to arrive at a place with hotel standard. There is an incinerator toilet, the water comes from a well and there is no dishwasher. You will definitely enjoy if you like to live in "close to nature" cabins. Please, note that linen/towels are not included in the price. So you should take it with you or it is possible to hire for 200NOK per set. Please let us know. Cleaning is included but you have to prepare the place for the cleaning according to further instructions. P.S. When you are booking Easter holiday, the rule is that you can book from Friday till Wednesday or from Wednesday till Monday or entire period. Pets are allowed. You will be given pet rules in the instructions. Pet fee is NOK 500. Let us know.

The island has a history of timber floating and regular steamship traffic. DS Strømmen shuttled past Støtterud from 1865 to 1927. Visit Gansvika, where they serve good food in the café and offer a nice swimming area for all ages. We also recommend a trip to Fetsund lenser with its interesting history of timber floating in Norway, and here you will also find a good brewery café.
