This cabin at Golsfjellet is at 850masl and located between Golsfjellet and Fagernes. It is a nice hiking area in the summer and autumn, and a cross country skiing in the winter. There are ideal fishing opportunities for trout in the nearby river Tisleia. The river flows through an area of amazing and variety, with both calm areas and streams. This variation gives very good fishing possibilities. You can also find own areas for fly fishing. If you wish to ski you can find alpine slopes 3 km from the cabin by Golfjellet Alpine center plus there is a large network of cross country trails in the area. The area is very good for cycling. In a short distance from the cabin, you can find the cycling route Mjølkevegen. During the summer, the winter holiday and Easter, you can find a small grocery store 6 km from the cabin along Tisleiavegen. The rest of the year, you can find a grocery store 11 km from the cabin at Fjellbu.
