IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Final cleaning is included in the total price. Bed linen and towels can be rented (must be booked at least 5 days in advance). If you bring your own, duvet and pillows are in the cabin. Firewood is not included but can be purchased at Joker Vaset. Firewood can also be bought at the cabin for NOK 100 per bag, but this is available upon request. There is a toll road to the cabin. ABOUT THE CABIN: Slettabu is beautifully situated at an altitude of 1040 meters, offering stunning views. In winter, you have cross-country ski trails right outside the door, and in summer, you can embark on a mountain hike directly from the cabin.The cabin has a spacious living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, four bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and washing machine, and an additional toilet. There is also a loft living room with a TV – perfect for families or groups of friends who need extra space. Outside, you can enjoy the sunny terrace, whether with your morning coffee or a relaxing evening while taking in the panoramic views. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: Double bed (150 cm). Bedroom 2: Double bed (150 cm). Bedroom 3: Double bed (180 cm). Bedroom 4: Two single beds. Loft living room: Sofa bed for two people. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are located in the loft room.

The area has a stable and snow-sure climate, making it a popular choice for cross-country skiing, ski touring, and alpine touring (randonnée). A vast network of groomed ski trails stretches for miles through mountains and forests. During summer and autumn, the area offers fantastic hiking and biking opportunities. There are numerous scenic hiking trails, including several mountain summits. Cyclists and animal enthusiasts will enjoy the miles of old mountain farm roads passing by working farms. The region also provides excellent fishing opportunities in mountain lakes and rivers. Several great swimming spots can be found nearby, including Rensenn by Panoramavegen. Vasetvannet, about a 15-minute drive from the cabin, features a fantastic activity park for children with slides, climbing structures, an obstacle course, a zipline, and a barbecue area. It is approximately a one-hour drive to Synshorn Via Ferrata and Gjendesheim (Besseggen). Several cozy dining spots are available in the area, including Vasetstølen, Gomobu Fjellstue, and Sekskanten. Vaset is a perfect destination for both active hikers and those looking for a peaceful cabin retreat in stunning surroundings.
