Here you can relax on long evenings by the fireplace overlooking the fjord or take wonderful long walks in the mountains. You will find good fishing opportunities both in the Tyssefjord and further out. A boat with motor can be rented from the landlord. You will spend your vacation in a child-friendly area with little traffic and some goats, chickens and cats that like to get some attention. It is only a short drive to the nearest grocery store and town of Sand. Visit Sandsfossen where you will find good fishing opportunities. For salmon fishing, Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva are recommended. Also make day trips to Preikestolen, Lysefjord and Stavanger.
