In winter, the cabin is close to fantastic cross-country skiing trails in Skurvedalen, ice fishing on Tinnsjøen, and about 40 minutes from the magical Gaustatoppen ski resort. The cabin is a short distance from Rjukan, which offers tourist attractions such as Gaustatoppen where you can see one-sixth of mainland Norway, the Vemork industrial workers' museum, the Krossobanen cable car, Rjukan climbing park, and Rjukanbadet.
