#Experience living on a local farm in Pokhara, -Namaste, I am Hom and along with my wife and 2 sons, we welcome you to stay in our small farmstead on the hill overlooking Phewa Lake. The farm is set in a very peaceful place on the side of Sarangkot hill with no direct neighbours, and the view is beautiful. Eagles soar close by, this would be ideal for bird watchers. We live a mainly subsistence lifestyle, we grow rice, corn, vegetables & fruit, and have goats, chickens and cows for eggs and milk. Although new to booking(.)com but I have welcomed many travellers into my home over the years from many different countries, usually having met them on the path up to Sarangkot. I love to have travellers staying, and sharing stories. #WE PROVIDE.. Private room with 2 beds for guests, with strong wifi. Away from any road so very peaceful with no traffic noise. Nepali food is served as we eat, typically a dahl baht in the morning, some snacks (corn, chapati etc) in the afternoon and a dahl baht in the evening. You are most welcome to use our kitchen for making your own meals. We have a gas hob alongside the traditional clay fire, and a fridge freezer. Guests will learn what living in a complete subsistence lifestyle is like, and can share cultural experiences. #YOU ARE WELCOME FOR.... -For exploring Nepalese lifestyles closely. -For learning how to cook Nepalese food and learn Nepali work. -For getting good information about trekking longer or shorter without guide.
