We are a family of three, we just love being a homestay. So far, we have hosted 175+ beautiful people from all over the world. Almost every friend who visited us ask this; "Don't you get tired?" Naah! the midnight conversations, getting to know each other and sharing a home and making new friends from all over motivates us.
But apart from that suju by profession is a medical officer, a chatterbox and is a foodie, and she loves music. Aama is more inclined to spirituality and loves to cook for everyone, and Aashish is passionate about cinema.
Property information
Namaste, thank you for being here. We have been a homestay since 2016. The home is two and a half storied that my late father constructed.
We have a common spacious living room where all of us chill and have our breakfast and dinner here. P.S- Breakfast and dinner are INCLUDED in the price.
There is always a high chance of interacting with a fellow traveller/volunteer/med student.
There is a backyard garden where you can study, do our yoga/meditation or just be lazy. We also sometime do backyard movie nights.
Neighbourhood information
Well, Kirtipur itself is an old historic city so close to Thamel, Patan and the monkey temple and it has so many things to offer.
Local Food- You can try authentic indigenous Newa cuisine in restaurants like Palifal and SASA which are literally in the neighborhood, just a few minutes away.
Kirtipur Hospital is also on a 10-12 minute walking distance.
Historic Temples- Ancient historic temples such as Bagh bhairav, Uma Maheshwor, Chilancho stupa , Bishnu Devi temple are on a walking distance.
Also, visit Monasteries in Pharping.
Natural Places- You can go to the suspension bridge on a walking distance and see some view from there. If you are a hiking person you can hike to Chandragiri hill or Champadevi hill. You may also visit Taudaha Lake in Kirtipur.
Cable car ride to chandagiri hill for the view is also very near by.
Banks ATMS, marts, cafe, public transport all of them are on a walking distance.
Morning walks to the oldest university of Nepal in Kirtipur is also refreshing. You can interact with young people playing sports in the evening.
A cinema theatre is also in twenty five minutes walking distance.
Water amusement park is also there in Kirtipur.
