Designed with openness and airiness in mind, our property boasts breathtaking views of tea plantations, some of which we own, and the surrounding pine forest hills. Situated in close proximity to various tourist hotspots such as Antu Hill, Kanyam, Maipokhari, and Sandakpur, as well as Darjeeling, Mirik, Illam, and more, there's no shortage of exploration opportunities for our guests. For those seeking adventure, there exist several beautiful walking trails right at your doorstep. Explore the wonders of nature as you meander through picturesque landscapes. The Ridge Homestay is located near a family-owned farm, where guests can enjoy a unique farm-to-table experience (availability based on harvest season). Take a leisurely stroll through our greenhouse vegetable gardens and tea plantations nearby. For those seeking a cozy day in, we have an outdoor wooden oven and BBQ area outside the property where the guests can cook and relax. We provide breakfast and lunch options freshly prepared in a neighbouring family house, crafted from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, including fresh vegetables. Please ensure to inform us of your dietary requirements during booking or upon arrival, and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Alternatively, other options for eateries are in Fikkal Bazaar, a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. On offer with the booking are a bedroom, a common area and kitchenette on the ground floor and 2 other bedrooms on the first floor for the guests. The owner lives on-site on the first floor and has a separate lounge and bedroom. There is a toilet and bathroom on the ground floor only for the guests. Basic kitchen utensils, pantry essentials and locally grown tea are provided in the kitchenette.

The property is located about 3.5 Km West of Fikkal Bazaar, Illam on the Mechi Highway, and about a minute's walk from the Panchakanya temple, Karfok in a quiet, tight-knit community, with several other community led house stays.
