Our guests are always surprised and delighted that our traditional city is a capsule in time. From our small city lanes and streets where are ancient Newari culture survives in tact in every facet of our city to our exceptional architectural masterpieces and ancient temples where our rituals and traditions flourish unaltered for centuries. These architectural masterpieces and temples are within a few minutes walk from our boutique hotel. The most famous Durbar Square has our royal Palaces and National Art Museum and our Taumadhi Square has the tallest ancient temple in all of Nepal. Automobiles are not allowed in our core city so you can walk and experience an ancient city that has very little traffic compared to most cities of today. Small cafes and restaurants serving our savory local cuisine is available throughout our neighborhood.
