Out from the main guest bedroom is a patio that allows you to relax and enjoy the tranquil rural views including watching the sun setting over Kapiti Island. The Scandinavian themed guest wing includes a king size bed with quality linen, a media/lounge room, a second bedroom with two king single beds, an alcove for tea and coffee making, and a high quality generous bathroom. One of the things we love about travel is meeting like-minded people. Our considerable overseas travel has targeted non-touristy places and we like to stay in family run boutique accommodation. As a result of these experiences we have built a brand new home that incorporates a designated guest wing where we can host and share travel experiences with fellow travellers. We named our home Aston Road Villa, the term Villa originated from an ancient Roman luxurious country residence. We have travelled extensively in New Zealand and have a sound knowledge of where guests can go to get a true experience of New Zealand's stunning scenery, culture, food, wine and outdoor activities. Our commitment is to provide a place where travellers can relax, chill out and recharge and have a "home away from home" for a few days enjoying the quiet rural setting of Aston Road Villa. In July 2022 we achieved a Qualmark 4 Star Plus Bed and Breakfast grading and a SILVER Sustainable Tourism Business Award.

Tourism New Zealand is promoting #backyourbackyard and we support this initiative. Kapiti Island is the jewel in the crown on this coast and a must see - it should hover near the top of Kiwi's bucket lists. Our b&b is only a short drive to where the boats depart to get over to the island. The island has been protected for 100 years and has been pest free for the last 20 years. Kapiti Island is what Aotearoa must have once been like. We recently won highly commended in the the 2020 Bed and Breakfast Rising Star Awards as part of the business awards in the B&BNZ Association - come and stay with us and enjoy the island and many other attractions in the area.
