There is a seperate bedroom with a fully made up very comfortable queen bed. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, The lounge has amazing sea views across the ever-changing harbour and the seperate kitchen is well equipped. Access is up 68 steps from the beach car park (free parking) and then via a sloping path to the house, Public transport is available, with a bus stop at the beach and regular services to Wellington City, Days Bay or Eastbourne, the Harbour Ferry, plus ethnic restaurants & cafes in Petone, There are lots of walks in the hills, or you can enjoy the sea as you walk around the coast. Bikes (including electric bikes) can be hired at Burdon's Gate (6 km away) where you can ride the coast to the oldest lighthouse in New Zealand

Our house is in a very quiet neighbourhood, with native birds and lots of sun. our access is up the steps then the private pathway to the house, so unfortunately it is not suitable for people with walking difficulties Being located on a point above the sea, we do experience all types of weather, which adds to the excitement of this location
