Our cottage is on the old main highway about half way between Waikanae and Paraparaumu and 50K to Wellington. You have private access and a car park if required. Lots of trees with tui, kereru, koromiko amongst others and in the summer there are apples and plums to pick straight off the tree. The cottage has been renovated inside and out, the bed is king size, we will supply linen and towels free of charge and the wifi is also free. The nearest shopping centre is at Paraparaumu about 3k down the highway (not really walkable). Also as we are semi rural our internet/wifi coverage is sometimes patchy but mostly it's pretty good
Gavin is a very keen trapper and bird photographer and would be happy to take guests along with him. We have a couple of small dogs, Lochie and Jett, who will be kept away from the cottage when we have guests
Kapiti Island is about 5k away as is the Paraparaumu Beach village, Coastlands Shopping Centre is 3k south and Waikanae village is about 3k north. Southwards Car Museum is about 1.5k north
