Our property is situated at the end of a small road on a hill above Woolleys Bay. There is direct access to the beach through a short forest walkway. Sandy Bay one of New Zealands best surf beaches is only 1 km away - a short walk, and Stony Bay where you can dive and go snorkelling is directly accessible by stairs from the property. The property is surrounded by native bush with lots of bird life (mosquitoes too) - There are kayaks and a tree house for children.
We are intrepid travellers and love adventures in different countries and we love to have people both locally and overseas enjoy this ideal location that we have enjoyed over many years.
Close by (and easy walk) is Whale Bay one of New Zealands most well known scenic beaches. Also close by is a coastal walkway to Whananaki where you can reach the longest walking bridge in NZ .
Tutakaka where diving boats leave for the Poor Nights or where you can get a fishing charter is only 10 kms away and it is about one hour's drive to the Bay of Islands.
