Brinkley Resort is situated in the Alpine heartland region of Methven and features views of Mt Hutt. The 4-star resort offers fully self-contained apartments suitable for couples, families or groups. Surrounded by 2 hectares of landscaped gardens, it boasts a tennis court, a restaurant and a hot tub with mountain views. Brinkley Resort Methven is 3 minutes’ drive from the Methven Racecourse and Methven Golf Course. Mount Hutt is a 30-minute drive, and Christchurch International Airport is an 80-minute drive away. All apartments are fully self contained with your private laundry shared between the two bedroom apartment and studio. Each apartment has a full kitchen and studios have a kitchenette, ideal for families or couples wanting to cook. Property has been upgraded with complimentary high-speed fibre Wi-Fi. Open from July until October, Shackleton's Restaurant offers a la carte dining.

Brinkley’s is a family run fully self-contained apartment style complex. We’re here to provide you with a high standard of service & warm hospitality. Our friendly staff will ensure your Canterbury High Country experience is filled with fun & adventure. The apartments are not serviced unless you stay a minimum stay of 7 nights and then the apartments are serviced mid week of your stay. Its a great idea to bring your own spa towels as well....we supply free laundries to every room.

Property information

Enjoy our wonderful gardens which have majestic views of the Southern Alps. We also have a complimentary outdoor bbq with numerous seating options around our 2 hectare resort. Beautifully manicured gardens, Floodlit tennis court, 2 outdoor heated spa pools, Its a great idea to bring spa towels so you can use the pools and not use your room towels . bocce / pentanque court , chip and putting greens , children's playground and our own private helipad....all here for your enjoyment. Complimentary wifi is available throughout the Resort. The apartments are not serviced unless you stay a minimum stay of 7 nights and then the apartments are serviced mid week of your stay.

Neighbourhood information

We are situated in the beautiful country town of Methven only 1 hour from Christchurch International airport and surrounded by farms in a peaceful rural setting with Rakaia Gorge 15 min away and views to the Southern Alps.
