Coming from a hospitality background that spans a couple decades I pride myself on providing a beautiful, clean place for you and the family to come and enjoy. Whether you are here on business or pleasure By the Bay Apartments has something for everyone.

By The Bay is located directly on the beachfront at Coopers Beach, Doubtless Bay in the Far North of New Zealand. To ensure you make the most of your visit on the beach we have free guest Kayaks and a Spa pool overlooking Coopers Beach and the greater Doubtless Bay, a great spot to enjoy a sip and watch magical sunsets. The property is well located to Cape Reinga (2 hr drive) and the historic center of Kerikeri and the Waitangi Treaty grounds in the Bay of Islands (1hr drive). We take great pride in that we rate very well in guest comments and a common request is that guests would like to stay longer as they find the accommodation and the area so pleasing to visit. We are a property where we strive to meet as many requests as possible and as such are a dog friendly property, with fees applicable. We unfortunately cannot accept all pets so if you are bringing your extended family member, please enquiry to ensure you get the full pet policy.

Wander off the property directly onto the white sands of Coopers Beach, take a towel and relax or take your rod to catch dinner to cook on the BBQ. Better still take one of our Kayaks out to catch a bigger fish or give us a call and we can put you in touch with the local fishing charter. Take a stroll along the beach to the local supermarket to get dinner supplies to cook in your own kitchen. Want to dine out close, take a visit over the hill to the historic town of Mangonui, take in one of the scenic walks, visit the many historic buildings including the most Northern hotel in New Zealand. Enjoy dinner at the NZ famous Mangonui Fish n Chip shop or the wonderful local Thai. A short drive can take you to two fine dinning restaurants (Ramada and Carringtons Winery Estate). Up for a drive, the quaint town of KeriKeri is 60 mins away and has many attractions such as the Stone Store, majestic rainbow falls, weekend markets. A short drive from Kerkikeri takes you to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and greater Bay of Islands which boasts the 'hole in the rock' and experiences such as swimiing with the dolphins. Journey to the north of New Zealand, explore, relax and enjoy.
