There are local 3 ski fields in the area as well as numerous walks or mountain bike tracks right at your doorstep. Access to the farm is permitted and the North Opuha Conservation Area is an easy 7km drive which will enable guests endless farmland to explore throughout their stay. Fox Cottage is a brand new modern home with electric blankets and comforters fitted on all beds, ensuring a restful and comfortable nights sleep after your busy days. Fox Cottage is 1km from the main farm house therefore you will be ensured a peaceful and private holiday. Hamish and Anna have 3 small children, Alice, Arthur and Jack. We run a 4,100 HA high country station and farm sheep, cattle, deer and cropping. We love the outdoor lifestyle that Fairlie offers and would love to share our part of the world with you.

There are 3 local ski fields in Fairlie as well as Lake Opuha which is a popular summer holiday spot for boating or fishing enthusiasts. The North Opuha river is a popular fishing location and the North Opuha Conservation area is widely used for trampers and mountain bikers. Fairlie township is an easy 15 minute drive and is home to the infamous Fairlie Bakehouse as well as other great cafes. There is a selection of restaurants and pubs as well as some amazing boutique clothing and home ware shops available. Tekapo is 30 km drive which will allow guests plenty of options for day trips during their stay.
