The house was architecually designed and built in 1998. It has expansive Rimu timber ceilings in the living area which add character and a sense of space. The upstairs opens out to a large deck which has expansive views down to the ocean, over the green belt and back up to the mountain. A 950 metre walk has you in downtown New Plymouth. The property is on a private street and is quiet. There is a double internal garage and a single off street park. The house is furnished to a high specification with interesting art and objects creating a home away from home. The pantry is well stocked and available to guests. There is a barbacue and outdoor dining on the deck allowing you to make the most of the sweeping views . The home is three bedroom but there is an additional small room with a single bed suitable for a child next to the upstairs bedroom. From the property you can drop onto the Huatoki walkway, walk to the bowl of Brooklands or pop up the road to Yarrows stadium. You can park your car and walk to most of the sites of the city, including the famous Len Lye and the walkway. At the end of the day relax in the quiet with a glass of your favourite beverage.

This is the third property that we have hosted and we have had nothing but great expereiences with many repeat guests from all around the world. We are fortunate enough to own a beach property where we spend the majority of our time. Georges also acts as our home which is why we have set it up so it feels like a home to our guests as well.

The location is great. Walking distance to downtown. Walk the Huatoki walkway. A kilometre has you at the gates of the beautiful Bowl of Brooklands and its extensive park. Walk to dinner at anyone of a number of great eateries take a leisurely walk home along the walkway. Our property is on a private street and very quiet. It is for that reason that we dont allow parties as we all like to respect each others sancturies. That is not to say that a barbacue on the deck after a busy day of exploring is not an attractive option.
