Overlooking Auckland’s famous Viaduct Harbour, The Chancellor on Hobson offers a fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool. Situated in Auckland CBD (Central Business District), all accommodation features a balcony with views towards the city or the harbour. All rooms at the The Chancellor on Hobson feature a kitchenette or fully equipped kitchen, plus a satellite TV. The fully equipped fitness centre includes a sauna and spa pool. The Chancellor on Hobson is 5 minutes' walk from the Sky Tower. Shopping, restaurants and the Britomart Transport Terminal are on the hotel’s doorstep. Please note that The Chancellor on Hobson requires NZD 250 credit card pre-authorization or cash deposit upon check-in to cover any incidental charges. This will be collected by credit card, debit card or cash. You will be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by the same method of deposit payment, subject to an inspection of the room. Pre-Authorisations - Under normal circumstances, banks should be releasing this hold when the pre-authorisation has been cancelled by us. Occasionally some banks are unable to release the hold immediately and may reflect on your account for 4 - 7 working days (depending on the bank of issue). The hold will then automatically disappear from your account meaning you would not see money coming in - the pending transaction would go away.

Guests are required to provide a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. We do not accept credit card/debit card payments over the phone.
