Welcome to Hanmer Springs only dome tent glamping experience.
Imagine waking up to stunning views of the Hanmer Basin to the mountains. Shower in the en-suite, put the coffee machine and bacon on and then take a 7 minute drive into the village and all it has to offer. At the end of the day come back to your private garden, strike up the BBQ, poor a glass of wine and sit in your own wood fired hot tub staring up at the Milky Way … that’s Hanmer Glamping.
We are Steve and Jo, the owners of Hanmer Glamping. We are originally from the UK but have lived in and loved New Zealand for the past 18 years. We raised our four children in the Nelson region. When our youngest child left home, we took the opportunity to evaluate life and made the move to Hanmer Springs to create our dream accommodation venue. We've purposefully kept Hanmer Glamping small and private, offering guests seclusion while having access to plenty of amenities. We are open all year round - the domes are particularly special in the winter with views to the snow capped mountains.
Hanmer Springs is a wonderful alpine village approximately 90 minutes from Christchurch, South Island, NZ. Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is a popular attraction, as are the numerous walking and mountain bike trails. For it's size, Hanmer has an incredible selection of restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Boutique shopping, golf and access to the stunning St James and Molesworth areas, our beautiful alpine village has it all.
