Inside, a tranquil bedroom with a queen-size bed offers beautiful views, while a kitchenette, cosy lounge area, and deluxe bathroom complete the interior. When night falls, enjoy a glass of bubbles in the outdoor stone bath under a star-filled sky. Hidden Springs invites you to slow down and disconnect — there’s no TV or internet, just birdsong, babbling brooks, and a fern-fringed hammock for lazy afternoons. A designated firepit area is the perfect spot to toast marshmallows or share a wine at the end of the day. If you’re keen to explore, the cabin is a 5-minute drive to Waikino, with the Falls Retreat Bistro and the historic Waikino Tavern close by. Waihi Beach, Owharoa Falls, Dickey Flat, and the famous Karangahake Gorge walk and tunnel are all within easy reach. Designed to be inclusive, Hidden Springs features a wheelchair ramp plus a fully accessible kitchen and bathroom. Bring your own food and drink and cook with the double gas burner or BBQ, with all cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans provided. Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year.
