It's a wonderful location to base yourself for sightseeing, beaches, fishing, day trip to Cape Reinga lighthouse and visiting local activities. Mangonui village is a short drive from us. We can accommodate the older person & limited disabilities with walking frame or wheelchair. We provide a double bed and a king single bed suitable for three adults. There is a;so a foldout sofa bed ideal for young children or teenager. For babies you will need to bring your own cot please. Please make sure you let us know if you need the extra beds. Self-contained, bright and airy, new facilities. Hotel quality linen. Your own private entrance and space and you are welcome to join us and enjoy our lovely gardens. We have rolling hills and sea views. We can assist you with local information to help you make the most of your stay. We look forward to meeting and greeting you to “Taipa Views B&B” There is secure parking for a boat or jet ski for those of you who love fishing in our beautiful seas. There are facilities for filleting your catch and freezing and a small smoker. Kevin can point you in the right direction for the best fishing and ramps.

Kevin and I are available to meet and greet you when you arrive. Janice was a trained nurse but is now retired. We are passionate about the Doubtless Bay area and it's beaches which we call paradise. We love our facilities and garden and have hosted students of all nationalities for many years and started our first B&B in Taupo in 2018 called Jake's Place. Now having moved to the far north we are loving the warm climate, fishing and beaches. We really enjoyed hosting and appreciate that people also need space and privacy to relax and unwind, so have created our B&B with that in mind.

Plenty of places to visit. The list is endless......., we have details of the most popular places for our guests. Taipa beach is 5 mins to the boat ramp, safe sandy beach and local cafe". We are local to Mangonui Village for restaurants and cafes, boutique shops and laundry services. Fishing charters are also nearby and 20mins drive to 90-mile beach. Coopers Beach golden sands and local shops for fishing tackle. Cable Bay for take Away Restaurant. The Carrington Estate offers fine dining and golf are nearby. We have the most stunning sunsets here at our B&B. We recommend staying two night so that you can have a full day exploring the far north.
