"Jennie's In Whitianga" is a BnB approximately 1.2km from the town's Main Street and is an easy flat walk to local restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The Pohutukawa and Nikau Rooms are in a separate part of our house. A washing machine and drier are available in our converted garage, as are tea, coffee making facilities, microwave and toaster. A self serve Continental breakfast is available with a choice of cereals, yoghurt, peaches and fruitsalad, orange juice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Various breads are in the freezer with multiple spreads available. Help yourselves, everything you need is in the kitchenette. Once you are checked in, we give you your privacy, however, if you need us for anything, we will be there to help in any way we can. We are Jennie and Peter. We have two cats, Pipi and Jag and a dog, Henri. The BnB is completely fenced off so Henri can’t get into your space. Peter sells Real Estate, loves animals, nice cars, boats and big TVs. I have a keen interest in animal welfare, having worked for the SPCA for over a decade, am an ex skydiver and scuba diver. I have been in the BnB business since February 2015, have hosted thousands of guests and have enjoyed every minute of it.

We live in a residential area called the Waterways. Whitianga is a sleepy seaside fishing town with a population of around 5000 for most of the year. Come Christmas and School holidays we are a bustling wee town with a population of between 20 to 25,000. We are a popular destination as we are central to many attractions such as Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, New Chum and Coromandel Town. There are many beautiful beaches and lovely walks all over the peninsula. Come and check it out !!
