Mackenzie Cottage is a fully equipped 3 Bedroom house which is close to town and has free Wi-Fi and Netflix. The house and section is children and pet friendly. Our cottage is a small and cosy house with all the basic necessities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. We offer a clean and tidy 3-bedroom house with full kitchen facilities, a fireplace and heat pump to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The house is configured with two queen beds and one set of single bunks. There is a lovely outdoor deck area for summer BBQ's! It’s a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. It’s all you need for a stay in Twizel. The house is fully fenced and laundry facilities are available. There is complementary fibre Wi-Fi and Netflix. The house is child friendly and has some basic child facilities including portacot and highchair. Twizel is a hydro town nestled in the heart of the Mackenzie basin on the main route from Christchurch to Queenstown and boast magnificent views of the mighty Mt Cook! It is full of history as it was established for the building of the hydro power scheme. There are a range of restaurants and cafes along with other generals stores and supermarkets. It is close to the lakes, ski fields, salmon farms, Heli adventures, Mt Cook and other conservation parks. It’s also a stop over for the alps to ocean bike track. The Twizel market square and bus stops are an easy 2 min walk which is super convenient! We also have heaps of on and off street parking if required.
