The short trip from Mission Bay to central Auckland is not only picturesque, but dotted with some of Auckland's other favourite attractions. Drive: 15 minutes is all it takes by car. Taxi: Probably the best money you'll ever spend, just sit back and take in the sights along the way! Bus: Only 50 metres away is a bus that leave every 30 minutes for the city. Walk to 63 Tamaki Drive and catch the TMK bus. On Foot: The walk from the Mission Bay promenade that follows the seashore takes around 45 minutes, or you can jog, cycle or rollerblade in less. Once in the city there is so much to do: - Auckland's Ferry Terminal provides regular ferries (usually every 30 minutes) to the beautiful Waiheke Island where you can experience some of NZ's best wines and their beautiful vineyards. - There are plenty of adventures on offer, such as Bungee Jumping, Whale and Dolphin Watching, Fishing, Jet Boat Tours, just to name a few. Auckland Airport to Mission Bay: Auckland Airport is 22km from Mission Bay. There are various options to choose from to get to the Mission Bay. The quickest and most convenient way is via Taxis or Uber. However there are less expensive options
