Kitchen: A well appointed kitchen with a Sunbeam air oven with grill, electric hob, coffee plunger, pots, pans, crockery glassware, cutlery, toaster and kettle. Lounge: Comfortable lounge with outstanding views, couch and table, Bluetooth speaker, 32 inch Panasonic smart TV and WIFI. Other things to note: The pod is self catering. It is fully cleaned and serviced before your arrival and includes a limited quantity of tea coffee, sugar, flowing soap and toilet rolls for your stay. If your stay is longer than 7 days your host will provide fresh linen and towels. Close-by Attractions: 20 min walk to Onetangi Beach and 3 cafes/restaurants; 20 minute walk down hill (or 2 minute drive) to Ostend Village shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarket Only 15 minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 10 minutes to the car ferry at Kennedy Point. There are many award winning vineyards (Casita Miro and Obsidian being only a 10 min walk away) in the area as well as Eco Zip Adventures. Great restaurants and eateries and most are only a few minutes drive away. Fenice in Oneroa - a great place to eat Italian food. Oyster Inn in Oneroa- Famous for their food and views overlooking Oneroa bay. Arcadia in Palm Beach - great food and close to the beach, perfect for breakfast after your morning stroll or run along the shore. Casita Miro - are passionate about their food and wine set in a Tuscany-styled setting. Spanish cuisine with tapas and an a la carte menu available. Bookings essential. Man O'War Vineyard at the bottom end, is an intimate beachfront winery with tasting room and casual bites. The Gin Distillery at 258 Cowes Bay Road approx 2 km past the turn off to Orapiu on the way to Man O War. Sit on bean bags while you take in the amazing views out over the water towards the Coromandel. Mudbrick Café and Restaurant offers fine and casual dining. Stonyridge - A wonderfully relaxed tasting room and cafe, with great wine, good food Tantalus Estate Vineyard would be one of the finest vineyards re food and service on the island. They also feature their own craft brewery called Alibi. Heke Brewery Just past Tantalus is the new Heke Brewery, whiskey bar and restaurant. The Shed at Te Motu Vineyard has a great atmosphere, located in a vineyard valley off the Onetangi Straight. Bookings recommended. Wild on Waiheke Vineyard- has a great outdoor and large indoor restaurant to complement their wine.
