The home is part of a working vineyard producing some of the best Pinot Noir in the country - check out Valle Bendigo Pinot Noir from the past, now being leased by Nanny Goat Vineyard who are producing Pinot Noir, Rose and a champagne-style wine not yet released - watch this space :) The home is in the country, between Wanaka and Cromwell, on the Tarras side (the sunny side.). In winter, we are above the frost line and generally below the snow line meaning the house is warm, dry and very cosy all year round.

Home sleeps 5 -Two doubles and a single - beautiful rooms. Close to Cromwell in the beautiful wine growing area of Bendigo, home of Shrek the Sheep. Stunning holiday home on the Dunstan Range at Chinamans Terrace, Bendigo with magnificent views over headwaters of Lake Dunstan to Mt Pisa and surrounded by beautiful vineyards, interesting views and lots of local walks and activities. Very close to the Bendigo Goldfields with wonderful exploring, or just chill out and relax at a home so good you simply won't want to leave.. Watch rabbits playing while you sip your wine and see the sun go down on the beautiful valley below. Sunrises show off the Lindis Pass in the distance, and the night sky needs to be seen to be believed. Full holiday home very well appointed - bring only your food and wine and relax and enjoy this piece of paradise. This is my holiday home and great place for office work away from the office - printer on site, byo wifi via a hotspot off your phone. TV is via a HDMI cord (supplied) into your laptop or device. My home and my children were raised with no television, it's not something we spend time on, but I've been remiss to not be aware that others like television when on holiday. There are incidentals on site - jams, crackers, pantry supplies, computer cartridges and more - can you please replace what you use - thank you. Printer takes Canon Pixma 681 series ink, if you plan to do much printing when you are here. But its a beautiful place to just sit, and just be. So relaxing. But .... mountain bike tracks close by, ski fields in the region and plenty of action and activities for all. Boat ramp at local lake in close proximity. Boat parking possible - please arrange directly with owner prior arrival. Temporary Horse paddock available on site at extra cost - please discuss details directly with owner. Great horseback riding in the area. Helipad at the property.

Lovely place to relax and chill out, isolated although neighbours keep an occassional eye out on the place (thank you). Driving close by to Bendigo Goldfields, Tarras Store, Cromwell and its lovely shopping and the cycle trails, 25 mins to Wanaka, 40 mins to Cadrona, 50 mins to Queenstown, not so far to Clyde and Alexandra, Cromwell Lake water park, Wanaka and lots of lovely vineyards and attractions in and around Cromwell, Wanaka, Bannockburn and Queenstown. The drives through the Kawerau Gorge and the drive over the Lindis Pass to Omarama will be lifetime highlights at any time of year. Well worth going for a drive and explore this beautiful region and come home to pure luxury at the end of the day. Golf course just 19km away. Lake in close proximity (view from the house) - great for swimming and fishing - you can bring your boat (prior arrangement with the owner needed).
