Across the road from Parapara Beach and Reserve
This is a perfect location to enjoy a Golden Bay holiday. This area offers not only a safe swimming beach with cockles to collect but impressive bird life, fishing and walks. Make use of the kayaks supplied. Located only minutes from Collingwood where you will find a petrol station, café, store and pub. This side of our world offers the stunning Wharaiki Beach, horse riding, wildlife, Eco tours, a selection of cafes plus tramping on the Heaphy Track
The space
Takaka township is only 15 minutes away, on the way is The Mussel Inn and Pupu Springs. In town you can enjoy some retail therapy, cafes, and only minutes from other attractions like Anatoki Salmon.
From Takaka a 10 minute drive can take you to the very popular golden sand beaches in Ligar Bay and Tata Beach. Pohara Beach also has cafes and a general store.
Please note that access to the downstairs bedrooms is via external stairs.
