Pomare Bay Chalet is a double story, stand alone chalet, with a private large deck, upper floor balcony and floor to ceiling sliding, glass doors and windows. It is located within natural bush belonging to the property, a path down to the beach and the views overlook the outstanding natural beauty of the Bay of Island. The chalet has access to a private salt water swimming pool on the property. Inside, the chalet is decorated with Pacific art of high caliber. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry.
Lynda Shephard is a watercolour artist of international status with a large website.
Lynda
Her art is collected by Embassies, Banks and Business Corporations as well as private investors.
She offers private art lessons to guests, upon request, in her studio on the property. Lynda runs an on-line, tourist visual art gift company. She founded her own Art School in Dubai and , as a former Cambridge University graduate, she has been an examiner and educator in the visual arts and art history, across the globe.
The Bay of Islands is protected area of outstanding natural beauty at the top of the North Island which enjoys a semi-tropical climate. The area is famous for its deep sea fishing, bird life, dolphins, tall ships, local history with Captain Cook , and Māori culture , Waitangi Treaty House, as well as being the first capital of New Zealand. Pomare Bay Chalet is an easy ten minute drive from the historic town of Russell and the local area boasts of famous and award winning restaurants, vineyards and cafes. Russell is very popular with many celebrities who love this beautiful and romantic area and the privacy that it affords them. We locals don’t bother them!
