This two-level plus mezzanine beach house comfortably accommodates up to 5 adults, 8 with kids in a flexible, family-friendly layout. The upper levels include a generous open-plan kitchen and dining area, generous lounge, bathroom, and bedrooms. On the ground floor you’ll find the main entrance, a second WC/changing area - laundry (with beer fridge), all opening out to a covered porch and a sheltered garden room with a large barbeque table and Weber BBQ - perfect for a relaxed bbq brunch or evening unwind. Guests have a private entrance, exclusive use of the lounge, kitchen, bathrooms etc upstairs, and downstairs, the barbeque area, garden courtyard, and all listed amenities. There’s a hose to rinse off sand, an outdoor WC for easy changing, and you’re welcome to pick herbs or veggies from the garden - just follow best foraging etiquette and leave some for others. One car may park in the private gravel area behind the house. Additional public parking is available in the car park across the road. You’re welcome to briefly stop in the service lane for loading/unloading (max 5 minutes). The owner lives separately on the ground floor with their own private entrance. They may access the garden occasionally for maintenance (e.g. watering plants, putting out rubbish), but this can be timed to ensure your privacy. Walking distance to the harbour (ideal for kayaking, fishing, and wing-foiling) and the surf beach. The Boat Club is just 100m away a night out.

Waihi Beach has 10km of beautiful beach and we are located at the southern end, overlooking the sheltered harbour. Take your pick of fishing, swimming, surfing, kayaking, walking, cycling, watching the kite-surfers (or bring yours) or simply relaxing. Situated next to a park and childrens' playground and 5 mins walk to the surf beach, we're also just down the road from Bowentown Heads, Anzac Bay (safe swimming for kids) and Cave Bay, Shelly Beach. Minutes from the rest of Waihi Beach, a lovely spot to explore. For shopping essentials, Waihi Beach Village is a short 5-7min drive away or 15 min cycle, there's a Superette 3 mins away for a quick outing and Countdown and New World deliver. The Village shops have a bit of a reputation for being worth visiting! Waihi Beach has restaurants, cafes and bars, 100m down the road is the Bowentown Boat Club with bar and restaurant, walk home in style. If you feel like adventuring further afield, within a half hour drive you can do the the Hauraki rail trail (for biking), Waihi Goldmine tours, Karangahake Gorge walks, Bullswool Farm, Paeroa 'home of antiques', Katikati 'mural town' and more. Or stay 'home', build sandcastles!
