In Eastbourne there is also a lovely village that has everything you need for supplies Bush walks The hills in Days Bay and Eastbourne are clothed in tranquil beech and rātā forest. In contrast, the damp valley floors below are lined with lush semi-swamp forest including kahikatea, pukatea and nīkau palms. There are several tracks in the hills accommodating all ages and skill levels.
