We are a family from Punakaiki, we run the Punakaiki Beach Camp and also rent out our magnificent home to travelling guests.

Seascapes, the closest house to the Pancake Rocks, is right beside the beach. Light pours in from windows all around the two-storey home, with a different view from every aspect. Look west and there’s the Tasman Sea, to the south the Pancake Rocks and to the east towering limestone cliffs. The kitchen/living room area on the upper floor is open plan. It has everything you need for whipping up a meal - oven/stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker and fridge/freezer. It opens out on to a deck with a barbecue, the ideal spot for watching the sun set over the sea. Look carefully and you might even see the famous green flash. The living area also has a tv with Sky TV, a DVD player and DVDs. Downstairs there’s another deck at garden level. There’s access to the seaside via a garden path. Seascapes has four bedrooms. The main house has a master bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with twin beds and a set of bunks. Fold out beds are also available on request. The garden cottage, tucked alongside the main house, has a double room and another with two single beds which can be made up as a double. All linen and towels are supplied.

The neighborhood is beautiful, right amongst the Paparoa national park. There are many activities in the area, with hiking, canoe hire and stand-up paddle boarding.
