Roger and Pauline have been involved in welcoming guests to their home for several years. They started as farm stay hosts for Japanese students on their 20 acre Australian property in 2016 and then welcomed guests to use their entire home there for a year or so before relocating back to New Zealand. Following their relocation back to New Zealand they took on the project of restoration of the Church and this is the first apartment to be completed.

Continually undergoing refurbishment so you may come across building materials onsite. You are welcome to come and ring the church bell and arrange a tour of the main church with us during your stay. St David's began construction in 1883 and the original building was completed in 1885. The main church was then extended in 1912

Follow North Road to discover this vibrant suburb with its range of services including a supermarket, retro shops, and eateries. The Valley Project aims to enhance the quality of life for Valley people through activities and spreading the word about what’s happening in this end of town. They even have their own radio show Valley Voice Radio on Otago Access Radio. So, spend a little longer here if you’re visiting Baldwin St ( the steepest residential street in the world) on the right just past the North East Valley School. You’ll see what the locals love about this self-contained and linked up patch of Kiwi heartland.
