“The cabin is located in an amazing garden, about 5 minutes away from the beach. The beds are big and comfortable, and the house has everything you need for a great stay. Katy was super welcoming and friendly. We‘d be happy to come back anytime!”

A beautiful, cozy wooden cabin. 2 single beds can become a double. Access to the main house for shower/toilet and kitchen. Cooking of fish permitted but no other meat, thanks. There is also a compost toilet a short walk away and an outdoor cold shower if you'd prefer more privacy. The cabin has a kettle and toaster as well as plates/cutlery etc. There is a small seating area and storage unit, plus outdoor table and chairs. Option to cook outside if weather is good on a two-burner gas hob. Set on 1.5 acres of landscaped, vibrant and lush tropical gardens with a stream running through. Walk to beach or lie in the shade of the trees, then warm your bones and relax your body in the infra-red sauna. Book a private yoga session or a reiki relaxation. Come and be nourished. A place to retreat to with someone you love, on your own or with a friend.
I am a yoga and dance teacher, I also offer a variety of healing services. I love painting, gathering people in community and getting to know new people. I also love swimming, hiking and cooking. I am originally from the UK, spent time living in Spain and have now been in New Zealand for over 8 years.
Taupo Bay is a small coastal neighborhood. The beach was voted the best in New Zealand a few years ago and is a well known surf beach. There is a food truck in the bay and occasionally wood fired pizza. We are located 20 mins from the Dukes Nose walking track, 20 mins from Mangonui a picturesque village which houses a number of restaurants and shops and about 30 mins to Kaeo where there is a great Indian restaurant, a few shops and a couple of cafes.
