Located in Nelson, Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park is adjacent to the long welcoming sands of Tāhunanui Beach. Onsite recreation facilities include an 18-hole mini golf course, five children's playgrounds including a giant trampoline pillow, flying fox, mega swing, pétanque and sand volleyball, pedal-kart hire plus a guest lounge with Sky TV and games room. Free on-site parking is provided. Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park is just 4 minutes' walk from Natureland Zoo and Nelson Fun Park offering a variety of activities including hydroslide, go-karts, laser-tag, trampoline and bumper boats. It is 5 to 10 minutes' drive from the Nelson Car Museum and Pics Peanut Butter World. A variety of dining options are nearby. Accommodation options include private rooms, studios, self-contained apartments and bungalows. Some feature a fully equipped kitchen. The property offers several BBQ areas, communal kitchens and guest laundry facilities.

Our Holiday Park is a unique space, formed in 1926 when the land was given to the people of Nelson for use as a Holiday Park or recreational grounds. The park has now expanded to 22 park-like hectares. We offer an accommodation style to suit every budget from non-powered camping sites and cosy cabins with shared facilities, to 2-bedroom, fully self-contained motel units plus the stand-alone, 4-bedroom Beach House.

Tāhunanui is located between Nelson CBD, Nelson Airport and Richmond CBD. The local area has many attractions, highlights including the renowned beach we have direct access onto (one of only two north-facing in New Zealand), the adventure activities and cafes within walking distance, the Brook Waimārama eco sanctuary within a short drive, and the wineries, cycling and walking tracks and national parks within easy reach.
