Treat yourself to a unique and memorable stay at The Coal Miner’s Hut. Inspired by the historic miners’ huts that once dotted the West Coast, we’ve created a warm and inviting space for you to enjoy. Featuring timber interiors and a charming blend of vintage character with modern comfort, it’s the perfect base for exploring the many incredible activities nearby.
Your room includes a private ensuite bathroom, and you are also welcome to use the adjoining kitchen and dining area.
Our Miner’s Hut sits on a peaceful one-acre garden property along the road leading to the historic Denniston Heritage site. Inside, you’ll find an authentic, comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed, cosy leather chairs, a wood fire, and your own private ensuite bathroom. We also provide tea and coffee facilities, along with spray-free fruit and muesli for your stay.
The kitchen and dining area are conveniently located next door, and you’re free to use them for preparing simple meals. Everything you need - basic cookware, dishes, and utensils is available.
While there are no restaurants nearby, we’ve made sure you can still relax and dine comfortably with a provided BBQ and fire pit for your enjoyment.
We look forward to providing you with a unique and memorable stay at our Miner’s Hut. If you have any special requests, we’re always happy to help. Our goal is to offer visitors to the West Coast an experience they’ll remember and share with friends.
