Upstairs, the spacious loft-style bedroom sleeps up to four guests, featuring a comfortable king bed and two singles — ideal for couples, small families, or friends seeking a peaceful getaway in nature. Step outside to your private courtyard, where loungers provide the perfect spot to soak up the sun, listen to the native birdlife, and embrace the calm of this bush setting. As the first of three dwellings on the property, The Oak Cottage offers its own sense of seclusion while still sharing the overall natural paradise. Situated right on the Whangarahi Stream, this location is a dream for those wanting to reconnect with the outdoors. Explore nearby walking tracks, take scenic drives, or discover some of the Coromandel’s most-loved attractions — including the Driving Creek Railway, wildlife sanctuary, Hot Water Beach, and Cathedral Cove. A peaceful base steeped in nature and character — The Oak Cottage is ready to welcome you for a getaway where relaxation comes naturally. There are other holiday homes on this shared section, and they may be occupied during your stay. There is one other neighbouring dwelling available to book through Bachcare and can be rented alongside The Oak Cottage if you’re travelling as a group.
