SELF CHECK-IN. Kia ora! A warm welcome awaits you at The Orange Cottage. Overlooking Wellington Street Beach, and centrally located, the cottage is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The 70m2 renovated, fully-equipped Cottage features original artworks by NZ and Melbourne artists, and Indian hand-embroidered wall hangings. The super-comfortable beds: one queen and one king single (+ single trundle bed, on request) are made up with crisp white sheets and luxurious bedding.
The Orange Cottage is located in the heart of the historic Hayes Paddock neighbourhood, a peaceful and quaint area within a short walking distance to the city’s entertainment district, Gold Award winning Hamilton Gardens and just over the road from the bustling friendly neighbourhood eatery, Hayes Common. The Orange Cottage is also handy to the Grey St precinct which offers plenty of restaurants, Made Market, Volare bakery, Duck Island Ice Cream Parlour, Sage restaurant, bottle store, pubs, dairies and a multiplicity of cafes and takeaway bars. Overlooking the mighty Waikato River, The comfortable Orange Cottage is surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of riverbank walks, Kirikiriroa/Hamilton churches, children’s playgrounds and parks, buildings, Hamilton East shops restaurants, cafes, and monuments.
