House Rules: 1. The guest who books the accommodation must actually be staying at the property, and you will have to load a copy of your ID into our ID verification partners system "Truvi" 2. We LOVE animals, and know how hard it is to leave home without your fur babies. So if you are like us, and you love bringing your pup away with you on vacation, please keep in mind the following: - Let us know when you are bringing your dog along - Please bring a bowl and bedding for them (and please keep their wee paws off the furniture) - All toilet visits should be outside, please pick up after them! -If any damage or accidents occur during your stay please let us know ASAP - The 100 NZD pet fet allows you to bring one dog of any size - take note that our property is not fenced, so you will need to keep fido on a leash while outside 3. This is an obvious one - but absolutely no smoking and/or illegal drug use inside the bach. 4. No parties or events please! 5. Please respect the privacy of the guests staying in Waikanae Beach Escape and do not enter that side of the fence 6. We cannot accept bookings of more than 28 nights at a time 7. Finally, please respect and take care of Waikanae Beach Abode so it can carry on creating relaxing and memorable getaways for guests for years to come!

Hello! We are a small accommodation provider on the Kapiti Coast aiming to provide you with comfortable and memorable stays! Please read the below information to ensure you are fully equipped with all the knowledge you need before booking. Important Details: We have partnered with "Know Your Guest" by Truvi for ID verification. Following your booking you will be sent a link to complete your ID details and answer basic screening questions. You will also be asked to sign a short term rental agreement which will be sent to you via your guest portal Your access to Waikanae Beach Abode will be with a unique code for the smart lock, you will receive your door code at 9AM on the morning of your reservation start date you can then proceed at your leisure and check yourself in at any time that suits you from 4PM! The price for two guests is for one bedroom only. If you would like a bedroom each please book for three guests.

Guest Access: We have two buildings on our property. Waikanae Beach Abode is the 3 bedroom home on the right (Unit 3) while the bach on the left (Unit 3A) is Waikanae Beach Escape. Waikanae Beach Escape is also available to book if you need more space for another two guests. The two houses are divided by a fence, but share the beginning of the driveway. If you have not booked both properties, please respect the other guests by not crossing over the fence or allow your dog to go over there. The other areas that are not included in your stay are the garage under the house, or the empty section beyond the properties gate. You may notice linen, cleaning staff or our garden maintenance using this gate during your stay The Neighbourhood: There is so much to do and see in the neighbourhood!
