Relax and unwind in this small sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle of Lake Taupo. Whilst just one bedroom this thoughtfully decorated cottage has everything you could hope for to ensure your perfect stay. Whilst we have never been concerned by any noise from the road we have install a bluetooth speaker in the house so that you can use it to listen to your favourite music during your stay, enjoy. There is a heat pump in the lounge and bedroom, ensuring the property is warm for winter, and can be used as aircon for summer.

A little about Taupō: Located on New Zealand’s North Island, Taupō is a situated on the shores of Lake Taupō, which is the second largest lake by surface area in Oceania. The lake was created approximately 27,000 years ago by a violent volcanic eruption. Lake Taupō is located in a region rich with natural beauty, with lots to see and do, making it the perfect place to explore. Because of its location along a volcanic belt, geothermal activity has created a plethora of natural hot springs and pools that are waiting to be explored. You’ll find both free pools and geothermal parks in the locality. Aside from soaking yourself in the warm volcanic waters, there’s also a great deal of hiking to be done in the area. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can hike on Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Tongariro. Taupo truly is the adventure capital of the North Island, with everything including skydiving, bungy jumping, jet boating, and mountain biking on offer.
