At the gateway to the Waipara Wine Region and 3 kms to the Amberley township on a quiet sealed road, a clean, comfortable and cosy guest Cottage awaits you.
Only 40 minutes from Christchurch airport and located on our 17 acre farmlet, Wattle Creek Guest House has everything you need for a lovely stay. Fully self contained Cottage has separate bedroom with Queen size Bed, Living room with pull-out double sofa bed, Private bathroom with Shower & Toilet, Kitchenette with twin stove top, refrigerator, microwave, electric jug, toaster, & dining table. Enjoy sitting in the sun at the outdoors verandah table & enjoy the quiet tranquil surroundings.
Fall asleep to the sounds of the country and wake refreshed to birdsong.
A delicious breakfast basket will be delivered to you soon after your arrival.
We really enjoy meeting and hosting new people.
Amberley is the gateway to the Waipara Wine Region and is known for its beautiful local walks. Kowai River track, Mt Gray, Mt Cass, Tiromoana, Walkway and the Waipara Vineyard Trail are some of the beautiful local walks. The beach is also just 3 kms away.
Amberley has some fabulous places to eat; Brew Moon, The Nor'Wester Cafe, Amberley Hotel, Little Vintage Cafe and the Paris Bakery Cafe.
