Your Whitigetaway Sanctuary Soleil Villa looks across to Brophy’s Beach and the brilliant Mercury Bay. Brophy's Beach is a lovely sandy beach for children and popular with adults for swimming. Your accommodation is an end unit, well equipped modern two-storey apartment that makes for a perfect holiday. Also on-site is a free spa pool & tepid swimming pool. Our guests receive free allocated numbered parking, guests are guaranteed the same space, very close to the apartment for the whole stay with us. The kitchen area & lounge opens onto a sundeck and lawn area. There are outdoor chairs and coffee table on the downstairs and upstairs decks. The lounge has a sofa and two comfortable padded cane chairs. There is a smart TV with apps for Netflix, YouTube, and a host of others including free to air TV. A large dining area gives plenty of room for family meals and table top activities. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Complete with all crockery, cups, cooking utensils and cutlery. Along with tea, instant and plunger coffee, sugar, cooking oil and condiments, and a complimentary 200ml milk will be in the fridge to get you started. Upstairs is a double bedroom & second deck, have a wine, coffee & views! Also upstairs is a large second bedroom with two single beds. All towels and linen is supplied. Adjacent to the bedrooms is the bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity, washing machine & clothes dryer. All rooms and bedrooms have heaters, electric blankets and fans for summer. There is an electric iron and ironing board. Brand new flooring has been laid throughout the downstairs kitchen, dining and lounge area. Aqua Soleil complex is a quiet safe environment with extensive lawns, gardens and footpaths. There are numbered carparks very close to the front and back entrances of your apartment. The apartment where you will be staying is 5-7 minutes drive from Whitianga township. A lovely drive up Buffalo Beach Rd following the coast line of Mercury Bay. Whitianga has a wonderful variety of restaurants, cafes, major supermarkets chains, dress and clothing shops. There is also a twin cinema showing the latest in blockbuster movies. Take a relaxing 5 minute ferry ride across the harbour and a 10 minute walk takes you to even more beautiful beaches. Arguably one of the finest beaches in NZ, and definitely the most uninhabited beaches so close to a major township. It is only a kilometre or so from Aqua Soleil. Worth a visit even if you don’t want a spa. (If you prefer the tepid pool or spa at our complex the token or fob to open the pool gate is with the door key). Within 3 - 4 kilometers you will find; Whitianga Shopping Centre, Whitianga Harbour, Wharf and Ferry - plus the local historic museum. Boat tours can be booked at the Wharf. The Lost Springs, Whitianga Airport, free Bike Park with BMX track and free loan bikes.
