Hi! I'm Michael, your host at Yanuy Culinary. I'm a Cusco native and a professional chef, trained at Le Cordon Bleu, with over 7 years of experience in the world of hospitality and tourism. In addition to managing this guesthouse, I also lead Peruvian cooking classes and local experiences to help travelers take a bit of Cusco and the warmth of Yanuy Culinary back home. I love welcoming guests, sharing the best of my city, and helping you discover unforgettable flavors, places, and stories. I speak Spanish, English, and a bit of Portuguese, and I’ll be happy to assist you with anything you need during your stay, including teaching you a taste of Peru through my own sazón.

We’re located in the San Pedro neighborhood, one of Cusco’s most traditional and authentic areas. Just three blocks away is the vibrant San Pedro Central Market, a colorful place full of aromas, flavors, and local life where travelers and locals cross paths every day. The area preserves colonial architecture and offers a calm, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for walking both day and night. You’ll also find nearby minimarkets, laundry, public transport, and more.
